Ingredients
🔸️1 cup Moong Dal
🔸️1 cup Milk
🔸️½ cup Ghee (Clarified butter)
🔸️½ cup Sugar
🔸️1 tbsp Almond flakes
🔸️10 nos Cashew
🔸️¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
Procedure-
🔸️Rinse 1 cup moong dal thrice. Drain the water completely and add it to a blender jar. Blend it to a not-so-smooth but slightly coarse texture.
🔸️Heat ½ cup Ghee in a wide pan, when the ghee turns hot add semolina and fry until it turns aromatic.
🔸️ Add the ground moong dal and regulate the flame to medium, keep stirring and incorporate the ghee into the moong dal mixture.
🔸️ Reduce the flame and fry until the dal turns deep golden and aromatic.
🔸️ Pour the 1 cup of milk at room temperature.
🔸️Add ½ cup sugar when the entire milk is absorbed.
🔸️ Add ¼ tsp Cardamom Powder and chopped dry fruits of your choice.
This means the halwa is finally done!
